Habatat Galleries - Masterworks: A Contemporary Glass Auction
Sold! $185,600 at Auction was the final price as the gavel closed the lively bidding. Auctioneers Pamela and Karen Rose sold the "Yellow Crown" Signature Sculpture of hot worked glass by Harvey Littleton (1983) a 12 part sculpture and is featured on the cover of the High Museum book "A Retrospective Exhibition" (1984) and on a poster for the Renwick Museum at the Smithsonian (1985). Signed and dated part of a private collection.

This item was sold Thursday, April 28th at Habatat Galleries Auction in Berkeley, Michigan. The onsite buyer was elated with his purchase. The crowed erupted in cheers to be part of selling the historical piece. Buyers from around the globe attended this luxury event of Masterworks and contemporary glass. The sale also included "Column 35" an extraordinary cast of glass sculpture by Howard BenTre' (1986) which sold for $86,900. Sales included a buyer’s premium. View Photo

Crowne Plaza was the setting for the annual March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. An array of master chefs presented unique and savory samples of cuisine. The attendees were supportive in raising over $58,500 at the auction event. Proceeds go to the NICU unit at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and to help premature births with research and education. Jennifer Stopar this years chairman thanked Pamela Rose Auction Company by stating "Without your help we would have not been a success. We are lucky to have you and your team" Pamela Rose replied that it takes a strong team, community, and chairpersons to achieve the results of this years event. " I was impressed by the attendees and their support of our community as well as giving parents of premature babies every opportunity to have healthy children."

Celebrate in Gatsby Style was the theme of this years POWWOW Auction Event held at Walsh Jesuit High School. Luxurious items from vacationing in Rome to Oprah Winfrey Show tickets in Chicago were sold at the evening of class and style. There we're dappers, shieks, and shebba's sprawling the grounds of the grand party while bidders delighted in taking a walk back through the roaring 20's. The team at Pamela Rose Auction raised over $110,000 at the live auction event. The night was full of community support and memorable attributable to all of the volunteers and their hard work.
